Job Description

HR Administrative Coordinators assist with the management of data and creation of reports while supporting the general functionality of the organization's hiring/administrative operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Resolves office-related conflicts and requests

* Processes FMLA/LOA requests

* Ensures that new hires are in good standing and approved by the requesting supervisor

* Ensures all onboarding paperwork is completed correctly and distributed

* Distributes personnel change notices (PCNs) and termination slips for employees as needed

* Update HR drive with PCNs, dispatches, and scans of employee records

* Maintains and updates new hire/re-hire onboarding training matrix, spreadsheet, and logs for employees and contractors

* Organizes office, sorts and distributes communication, schedules, and plans meetings and appointments

* Inputs and maintains employee data in payroll, benefit, and 401k systems

* Reports new hires to states weekly

* Updates and maintains the company org chart

* Monitors supplies and their replenishments

Key Job Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in HR/related field or a minimum of 3-5 years relative experience

* Knowledge of local, state, and federal labor laws is required

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

* Ability to work extended hours when necessary for business needs

* Experience working in construction

* Experience with unionized workforces is a plus

* Strong attention to detail/organizational skills and ability to multitask

* Practical oral and written communication skills

* Ability to prioritize set goals and accomplish responsibilities with little supervision

* Must be detail-oriented, possess a high degree of accuracy, and work well under pressure
